I am busy finishing off my film “Mr. Buttons” in time for a festival deadline in early March. At the same time I have finished the 1st draft of my film “Sustenance“, started costume design, casting and location scouting. All of this is in effort to have a new DVD ready in time for the San Diego Comic-Con. We’re on target, but it’s going to be close.

Things are moving fast on this one. The 1st draft of the script is done, cast is being lined up and locations are being secured. If all goes according to plan, we will start filming this one in early April.

Sustenance - First Draft Progress (0)

I’m about half way through the first draft. I’ve added some new concepts to the piece and I’m sure many things will change between now and the final version. I really want this film to be a shocker and get some screams, so this will probably the strongest horror film I’ve done yet. Some of the scenes are brutal - others are just out right gross.

Sustenance - Outline (0)

I have been working on the outline for the next film to follow Mr. Buttons. People keep asking me if my films have sex and nudity in them on the scale of Slaughter Disc…let me just put it this way, this film is very fucked up, and I’ll leave it at that. This will be a short film, probably 20-30 minutes so that it can fit on the Tales from the Carnal Morgue DVD. The idea was born a few weeks ago and every body I tell the concept to gets pretty excited about it. Then they tell me I’m a sick bastard.
